Corcovado National Park

We strengthen those who protect Costa Rica’s most valuable ecosystems.

Corcovado Foundation works in alliance with the National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC) and other partners to strengthen national park management through projects that support conservation, research, infrastructure, and the people who protect this natural heritage. Through these actions, we strengthen capacities and contribute to the protection of biodiversity, forests, and wildlife.

Protecting the areas that protect life

National Parks and other Protected Wild Areas are fundamental to conserving Costa Rica’s biodiversity, forests, and water sources. At Corcovado Foundation, we support their protection through resources, capacity building, and conservation actions in the field.

Infrastructure strengthening

We support the construction, maintenance, and improvement of trails, research stations, ranger posts, and visitor facilities, helping protection and management work take place more safely and effectively.

Ranger support

We provide equipment, resources, and training to support the work of rangers who patrol and protect these territories. Their work is essential to monitor ecosystems, prevent threats, and protect the extraordinary biodiversity they contain.

Visitor education and experience

We develop educational materials, guided experiences, and interpretation spaces that help visitors understand the value of ecosystems and the importance of protecting them.

Conservation built in the field

Every improved trail, every resource delivered, and every ranger supported strengthens the capacity to protect Costa Rica’s biodiversity.
